PoE 3.6 Shadow Spellcaster Builds

The PoE Shadow is one of the additional challenging lessons to perform due to his fragility, but he far more than makes up for it if managed with skill. [Poe 3.6 Trickster Builds] Physical-reflect map viable and Conversion Chaos Blade Vortex Trickster/Assassin
This build is beautiful, and the tree is also well balanced, but it sucks for leveling. And It is a crit-based Blade Vortex build built around bossing, utilizes Conversion mechanics along with Veiled mods that introduced to the game in v3.5. The build is initially designed as a 5k hp full DPSer (Damage-oriented version) to kill abandoned breach stone boss from 6-man party rotation. Even though I met the goal, I still not satisfied because the character died occasionally. I decided to min-max my character by giving up some damage for life. So, the build gets balanced (Balanced version), dealing insane DPS with robust survivability as well, able to annihilate all end game content besides bottomless Delve mine.

About Poe 3.6
This build got nerfed in v3.6
VRF got nerfed from 39% to 28%
BV base damage got nerfed 19%
Veiled Modifier got nerfed.
The change of mod 'non-chaos ..." has no significant impact on overall damage. Just substitute "Phys add lightning" for "Non-chaos add chaos," but this move would increase the crafting cost.
At the same time, we can no longer roll or craft more than one "X% of Physical Damage converted to Fire/Cold/Lightning" on a glove, this change merely reduce our damage less than 5%, this loss could be compensated by replacing with "increased Damage during any Flask Effect".
The consecrated ground now adds 100% increased crit while you're on the ground (buff)

Overall damage nerf : 20% LESS (1/1.39*1.28*0.818*1.04*1.04=0.81)
*1.04 is Nimbleness and jewel socket

That means we need a bit more time(25%) to kill stuff, for example, if you kill minotaur in 3 seconds in 3.5, you need 3*1.25 now, that is 3.75s.

In the other side, Loreweave 78% now, which is still good. (Eternity Shroud may be an alternative)
The new buff to Swift Killer is also lovely that fit to our playstyle, allows us to maintain charges (by wither) in need.

Generally speaking, the build setup is almost unchanged and still works effectively as in v3.5, that dealing insane damage as well being tanky, because the COMBO of BV+VBV along with Conversion is still potent, in both aspects: Mechanics and Base Damage.

Gem: Divine Ire, Storm Burst, and Bladefall will be a good fit for this build.

A new implicit mod to Synthesised Gloves: Phys to lightning conversion

Pros:
+ A shitload of burst damage
+ Instant phase/kill anything being a tanky character
+ Unlimited ceiling for gear investment
+ High-efficiency by abusing sort of overpowered mechanics
+ Respectable Clear speed
+ Physical-reflect map viable

Cons:
- Normal mobility
- Not SSF-friendly
- Gearing problem especially in a new league
- Bad league-starter
- Bad Performance at deeper mine levels

[Poe 3.6 Trickster Builds] cheaper Poe Currency Essence Drain & Contagion Trickster

This build thread is merely a rough guide to lead you into the builds basics. It is designed for general map clearing & to be an excellent league-starter build. However, if you are looking to kill end-game bosses this build CAN do them, but will require investment and even at that point there are a lot of other builds that would work better than this. You can always switch around as the guide will go into from a 1H/Shield approach to a +2/+3 Chaos Gem LvL staff which makes it able to farm bosses easier, but as mentioned; Other builds will be stronger for that purpose. Another powerful option for high-end-game availability is to use the Indigo helmet which will significantly increase your characters dmg output and available end-game content.

Is this build for you?
1. If you are looking for a build with insanely high exp/h gain.
2. A build that allows you to level as itself without any external abilities required.
3. If the build you seek can start with a meager budget with possible upgrades for higher currency.
4. If you like to play a build that works wonders in the low budget to accumulate enough Currency fast for the higher budget version.
5. If you prefer a build guide that has a video linked to it.

Currently going to improve this guide on all aspects. The build is very functional and fun to play as it is but feel you can make it better, cheaper Poe Currency and much more effective.

The plan is to include several versions/playstyles such as CI, 2H, 1h/Shield as well as Bane vs. Contagion usage to make sure the guide caters to most if not all players. For now, the above PoB is the only thing I can supply for the time being. [PoE 3.6 Trickster Build] High useful health pool Soulrend Trickster - Fast mapper with great defenses. WIP. Occultist versions inside


It's intended for leveling before you get the required gear to make the switch. More comfortable to follow for new players, as they have to look for one to two stats on their equipment. The mechanics are pretty straightforward. Also, some people don't want to respect and prefer sticking with one way of building.

The character is designed to be a fast and cheap mapper with great defenses and hardcore viability in mind. Trickster brings more to the table than Occultist in terms of apparent speed and ease of gearing. Should be viable in both trade and SSF leagues.

Bandits
Kill all. Help Alira if you're playing in SSF and need the resistances, respec later.

Pantheons
Major: Soul of Solaris
Minor: Soul of Shakari, Soul of Yugul if fighting against the Elder. Fully upgrade all of them.

Pros:
+ High effective health pool
+ ~20% block chance
+ 50/50% spell and attack dodge during Quartz flask
+ 75/75% spell and attack dodge during Vaal Grace
+ ~55% evade chance during jade and stibnite flasks uptime
+ 78% maximum elemental resistances
+ 6% reduced damage taken from Weave the Arcane
+ ~120% movement speed
+ Temporal Chains curse from Bane
+ Fortify
+ Vaal Grace

Cons:
- We get a lot of attacks and cast speed from the Trickster ascendancy
- Patient Reaper and Prolonged Pain further boost our damage over time
- Malevolence Aura socketed in Essence Worm
- Permanent Onslaught
- 4 Power and 4 Frenzy charges
- Despair curse from Bane
- Vaal Haste

[PoE 3.6 Trickster Build] Soulrend Dualwield EB MoM Trickster Starter/Endgame viable



Theirs some NASA level brainiac equation with MoM where if you don't have enough mana proportionally to your hp (ES in our case because were eldritch battery btw) and some big fucker slams your face in, you run out of mana and can't cast spells. For some reason, that doesn't happen. *shrug*.  If you are like me, it's fine, don't worry about it, get a bit of both life and es, and you'll be alright. Run around like a chicken with its head cut off, spam your flasks and Soulrend stuff until it dies. If a big tough, scary ugly mob appears, drop blight totem, bane every three-ish seconds, use Vaal grace, stand still and stab the thingie to death.

Pros
+ Very Fast
+ Can go super duper
+ Starts cheaper than dirt, can have 30+ Exalted Orb dumped into it as well
+ All map mods besides cannot regen
+ If bored, can switch to contagion/essence drain and use bane as a primary skill. Will have to change to a few more curse nodes on tree tho for bane
Cons:
- Not a melee chad warrior of death and destruction
- Everyone playing it
- Wtb devouring diadem
