Thing About New World Season 1 update

The New World community is currently frustrated with the recent news of the seasonal update being delayed. This has caused many players to question whether or not the game will be able to deliver quality content on time in the future. In this guide, we will be discussing the current situation and the issues surrounding it, providing some insight into the underlying mechanics and systems, and sharing our thoughts on the matter. Initially, the seasonal update was supposed to release on March 28th but has since been delayed until April 4th. This has caused quite a stir in the community, especially for those who have been grinding the leaderboards for months to receive the rewards. Unfortunately, due to the way the game is coded, it is not possible to simply pause the leaderboards to compensate those who have worked hard to get to the top. On top of that, every time New World announces a delay, they tend to hide it within the leaderboard post. This often goes unnoticed by players or is bur...

New World Battle passes and Wayfinder Guides

Welcome to New World Guides! In this article, we will discuss battle passes and their recent introduction to the popular online game, Wayfinder. We'll also explore the potential impact of battle pass fatigue in the gaming industry, and how New World can create a sustainable system for its players. Battle passes are a popular feature in many games today, offering players the opportunity to unlock exclusive rewards by completing in-game challenges. Wayfinder recently introduced its own battle pass system, which differs from the traditional free-to-play model. Instead, Wayfinder's battle passes do not expire, providing players with greater flexibility and choice. While the free-to-play model may work well for some games, New World has chosen a buy-to-play model. This offers players a fairer experience and can help to combat bots, which can be a problem in free-to-play games. By adopting a battle pass system that does not expire, New World could provide its players with more free...

New World Received significant balance changes

Welcome to the world of New World , where new patches and updates are always exciting! This patch in particular is a big one, with lots of changes to weapons and combat overall. In this guide, we'll be taking a look at the changes to the Fire Staff , Hatchet, Blunderbuss, and Musket - all of which received significant balance changes in this patch. The Fire Staff received both buffs and nerfs with this patch. On the buff side, the AoE upgrade for the Fire Staff had its projectile speed reduced by 25, fixing an issue where it couldn't be blocked or parried. On the nerf side, Flamethrower had its damage reduced from 50 to 100 weapon damage per second, and the Accelerating Flamethrower perk activation window was reduced to make it clearer and reduce the amount of stacks of Smolder needed to trigger the effect. The Hatchet also received some changes. Defy Death was changed to gain 50 base HP (before modifiers) instead of 50 max HP, and a bug was fixed where hard gem abilities would...

New World Passive Season XP in New Update

Welcome to the New World Dev Update ! In this article, LOLTANK will be discussing the passive season XP gain and how it interacts with the seasonal journey and other seasonal activities.  The passive XP gain is an added bonus on top of the rewards you get from seasonal activities, such as completing activity cards or participating in outpost rust. This is not intended to be the primary driver of progression through the season, as that comes from your seasonal journey and activities.  The devs are looking into additional enhancements to the passive XP gain, which may include additional passive XP vectors with the next PTR update . They are closely monitoring the data and feedback, so your input is very important in this regard.  It's important to note that these changes won't necessarily break your relationship with the game. Instead, they are intended to give you more choices and add to your enjoyment of the game.  We hope this article has been helpful in understand...

Gear Set Storage on New World PTR: Is It Enough

The problem with New World's current gear system is that it has become a chore rather than something to be excited about. Players are expected to change their gear every time they encounter a new mob, which is an unrealistic and tedious task. This has led to gear becoming meaningless and not memorable, which has caused the game to fail in the eyes of a lot of players. The introduction of gear set storage on the Public Test Realm (PTR) is a step in the right direction, but it is not enough. Players can already store their sets in different tabs of their storage shed, so why should they pay for something that saves them almost no time? The problem is not how many slots or storage we have, it is how ridiculous gear is, to begin with. Rather than creating more tabs in our storage shed, developers should focus on making New World gear sets more about chosen aesthetics and less about what it does. The new system should be meaningful and exciting to collect, instead of turning it into a...

New World Into the Void update for Economy, Progress, and Loot

The downtime of the New World Into the Void Update 1.1 will begin on November 18 at 5 a.m . Pacific time (1 p.m. UTC) in all regions. The estimated downtime is 4 hours. Into the Void has graduated from the Public Test Territory (PTR) and will be released in significant new world games. This update includes a new Void Gauntlet weapon that allows you to manipulate the power of the Void to support your allies and weaken your enemies with this magical DPS/support hybrid. When you determine their true intentions and why they came to Aeternum , you can also confront the new (and fierce) Varangian Knight enemy type. The Void contains hundreds of other changes and bug fixes, from faster road movement to linking trading stations to new Quests . Economy, progress, and spoils The faction change cooldown has been reduced to 60 days (down from 120 days). The weight of the repair kit has been reduced from 2.0 to 0.1. We think 2.0 is too heavy, and 0.1 is not heavy at all. It should be easy t...

Why will New World be the best MMO on PS5 and Xbox Series X?

More and more MMOs and MMORPGs have discovered the console market for themselves. In recent years, games such as Black Desert, ESO, or Final Fantasy XIV have appeared. But none of these games are as perfectly compatible with consoles as the New World . New World is an excellent MMORPG. It's fun and easy to use. Although it doesn't do anything new, it has enough small changes to existing ideas for me to continue investing. I haven't reached the final stage yet so that I will go into details later, but the time I have invested so far has seen me buy a property and become a carpenter, and broke the zombie's head. This can only be a clear sign of a winner. New World may not be the most primitive MMO, but its core is definitely in the right place, which may be more critical. Outside of specific worlds and stories, I have been here and did it many times in many other MMO games. In other words, the New World is very competent for those familiar things. Whether using a mouse a...
