The downtime of the New World Into the Void Update 1.1 will begin on November 18 at 5 a.m. Pacific time (1 p.m. UTC) in all regions. The estimated downtime is 4 hours. Into the Void has graduated from the Public Test Territory (PTR) and will be released in significant new world games. This update includes a new Void Gauntlet weapon that allows you to manipulate the power of the Void to support your allies and weaken your enemies with this magical DPS/support hybrid. When you determine their true intentions and why they came to Aeternum, you can also confront the new (and fierce) Varangian Knight enemy type. The Void contains hundreds of other changes and bug fixes, from faster road movement to linking trading stations to new Quests.
Economy, progress, and spoils
The faction change cooldown has been reduced to 60 days (down from 120 days).
The weight of the repair kit has been reduced from 2.0 to 0.1. We think 2.0 is too heavy, and 0.1 is not heavy at all. It should be easy to prepare something in your back pocket.
Consecrated iron items have been added to the top rankings of the faction stores of all factions. Large pieces of dedicated iron are used to make elastic perks for armor items.
Economy
All trading posts are linked.
Both listing and purchase taxes will be paid to the region where the purchase and sale order is listed.
The expired items listed in the sales order will be returned to the settlement where they were posted.
Items can no longer be placed on the trading station within 28 days. The maximum is now 14 days.
PvP death caused durability reduced by 10%.
The amount of honey obtained from the apiary has been reduced by 50%, and the amount of milk obtained from the cows has been reduced by 65%. Honey trees are not affected by this change. We made this change because the amount of milk and honey in the world is higher than our initial estimate. Bees and cows are happy with this change.
Housing New World Coin tax is now paid every seven days instead of every five days. The cost has not changed, so players will get two days of accommodation without increasing taxes.
Progress
They have reduced the territorial prestige gained from cooking because they are more generous compared to similar efforts in other craft trade skills.
The Harplass Homestead town project has been updated and now requires one quest item instead of 5.
Improve XP requirements for craft trade skills.
Once the player unlocks a new recipe (e.g., iron> steel), the XP requirement to continue to progress only by crafting something on the upper layer will be significantly reduced. However, if you craft items at the highest level you can make, you still need to put in the same effort to improve your crafting skills.
Potion crafting update
We feel that some advanced core potions (especially life potions and mana potions) are a bit too difficult to make, so we updated the recipes for making these items and introduced a new alchemical ingredient to do this: Alkahest.
Alkahest is made by distilling magic herbs found in Aeternum and can be used as a reliable and practical basis for future potions.
Collect the rare resources of the node
Thanks to the forum report, the problem of the rare resource probability of the T2/3/4 collection node was found and solved. Thanks to everyone who made the new world better through your report!
In short, we have several probabilities that multiply each other, resulting in almost zero chance of dropping some already rare items. This is combined with a problem. If your luck is too high, the item is nearly impossible to drop (not precisely how luck should work!), which translates into the sweet spot of luck that you must enter and even a chance (close to Zero chance) decline.
With this fix, things like Fae Iron, Voidmetal, Phasefiber, and Petrified Wood should now have a reasonable chance to drop after you reach a specific trade skill level.
This opportunity can be increased by consuming appropriate trade skills when gathering.
Trade skill foods can also make them drop before you can usually get them based solely on your trade skill level, albeit at an infrequent rate.
Fishing
Starting a fishing mission now requires three psyllid baits instead of 5.
Trophies/Rewards
Some new named items have been added as special drops from named knights in the world. The knight who is the target of the mission has no special drops.
A new weapon dropped from the Knight enemy type has been added.
Rook's defensive tower shield now has the appearance of a tower shield instead of a kite shield.
A set of weapons designed by participants in the New World War event has been added. These weapons are the fifth tier, and if their equipment scores 600, they can become legends.
