Poe 3.9 League Starter Witch Occultist Builds

The Occultist can be a Witch class that specializes in cold and chaos damage over time (DoT) effects also as curses, using a minor affinity for each energy shield and energy charges. The class is capable of reliably producing mentioned Energy Charges with no need to trigger on-kill effects, working with Forbidden Power. [PoE 3.9] Very High Damage output Lahkesis Queen of Chaos - Essence Drain/Bane/Contag Occultist Build

Lakeside Queen of Chaos has excellent safety overall in mapping and doing boss fights. Usually, press Bane, and it should be enough to clear one whole pack, and keep moving until you complete the map. This version also has a gem slot for Contagion, so you can use Contagion and ED to clear a load of monsters ahead of you. Keep flasks up while mapping. The faster, the better.

Pros:

+ Decently tanky, safe to play
+ Can do any map mods
+ All Content
+ HC Viable
+ Very versatile, a lot of utility options (low life/life-based/CI)
+ Decently fast precise speed, fun playstyle rushing from the pack to pack
+ League starting is possible due to sound damage output
+ Great boss killer, can do any boss
+ No need to use mana flask for mana regen

Cons:
- Cannot reliably do no-regen maps
- Not quite beginner-friendly and takes time to learn all mechanics and gearing in the build
- Min-maxing with double corruptions is very expensive for high-end gear
- Essence Drain can miss against fast-moving bosses, has very limited AoE and requires re-casting the skill sometimes

The secondary slot setup has multiple uses. Any warcry socketed into Brinerot Flag gives you 2 Power Charges. Cold Snap spawns chilled ground, and it slows down enemies and generates Frenzy Charges if they die while standing on it. Abyssal Cry makes that Porcupines don't throw out any spikes on death. Enduring Cry gives you Enduring charges and life regen. Nobody is going to cast it before every monster pack, but it may be helpful before some hard encounters like Syndicate, between Uber Elder phases or when delving. Just throw it once before the meeting to gain Frenzy and Endurance charges for a few seconds. Rallying Cry may help you with mana sustain if you have a problem with it.

Pros:
- Can run any combination of any map mods
- Interesting mechanics
- Cheap to start with
- Good league starter
- Decent clearspeed
- Great delver (depth 1000 achieved)
- Doesn't rely on flasks
- Pretty tanky

Cons:
- Maxing your gear may sink some Poe currency

[PoE 3.9] Death Whisperer(CI) Updated regularly

In short, no, it won't be a good choice of the belt for the build. In long, it might be a great way to level quickly. However, I'm not sure how large of an area the degen from the belt is. Also, this is a Talisman League item, so it isn't easy to come by usually. For this build to work, you need to equip Death's Oath Astral Plate. With the release of 3.0, it now grants the Death Aura skill, which does 450 chaos damage over time. In 3.6, this damage was increased by 25% to make the base damage start at 562.5 Chaos Damage Over Time. The first version is for Increased Area setup, and the second one is for More Damage setup. (whichever you want)

Ascendancy:
3 and 4 are interchangeable, Profane Bloom will likely make for a more natural mapping experience until you get Uber Lab completed.

Pantheon:
Whatever you feel like, these are entirely situational and have little impact on gameplay.
However, the Soul of Abberath and the captured soul will make burning ground and ignite maps smoother to play in because these would generally interrupt our ES Recharge.
