How to trade Poe items with other players

The currency status of the Path of Exile looks very different from other types. Everything is based on stock trading-whether it's NPC characters or other players who use items and dozens of different currencies. So, what is it like to buy and sell items from other players?

Unfortunately, the Path of Exile did not have an auction system, such as in the early days of "World of Warcraft" or "Diablo 3". Here, everything happens based on conversations between players-through the chat available in the game (1) - through discussion forums or sites like Poe.trade.


Let us first focus on the aforementioned website. After entering, you need to find the product you are interested in. Therefore, if you want to find a specific item, enter the name of the item in the "Name" column (2). However, if you are looking for a specific type of items, such as a two-handed weapon or armor, please select the appropriate item in the "Type" heading (3).

We can also use other fields such as an attack, defense, or hole fields corresponding to the gem's location. After installing everything, just press Enter after a while to display the result table.


Here we find all the information about the element-the type and the number of slots (4), the level and requirements of the device (5), or all the attributes the device has (6). We will also find another player's price for a given device (7).

If we are interested in buying, press the "Private Message" button (8), return to the game and paste the copied message into the chat room to send a player's request. Thanks to this, we will organize an exchange, which is usually just under another player's cover.


Sale items look worse. If we want to place items on the above page, it is impossible without a cash investment because the free version does not provide this option. If you want to do this, enter the chest and press the + (9) icon to open the store.


The store has two options to choose from. The first is to convert any tab to an "Advanced (10)" tab. The second is to purchase a brand new Advanced Tab (11), but this is a more expensive option. In the "Advanced" tab, we can release products for sale by setting the price first and automatically displaying them on the specified page.


If you don’t want to spend money, the game will provide discussion forums and chat information. To advertise your product in the chat, open its window, select the "Transaction" tab from the list (12), open the inventory, and hold down the CTRL and ALT keys while right-clicking the product you want to sell. It will be linked to the chat room (13), after which you only need to send a message and wait for players interested in buying.
