Nintendo Direct Live Stream: Gaming News and Updates

The Nintendo Direct live stream was held on November 13th, 2018 with the aim of providing news and updates for upcoming games. The three main announcements were that Animal Crossing Pocket Camp will come with a mobile tie-in game, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is coming out December 7th, and an all-new DLC for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will be released on November 22nd.

Nintendo has announced they will be releasing their next game in the Animal Crossing series. They also shared some new details about the upcoming Super Smash Bros. game (release date, etc).

Release Date for Xenoblade Chronicles 2

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is an open-world RPG that was released on December 1, 2017, for the Nintendo Switch. It's a sequel to Xenoblade Chronicles and follows the character Shulk.

Release date for Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle

The game will be available in America in August and Europe in September.

Announcement of New Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Characters

This November 8th, Nintendo will be hosting a live stream about the latest updates for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. They will also announce new playable characters for this game during this live stream!

Link's Awakening remake announced

Link's Awakening has been announced to be remade for the Nintendo Switch and it will be available on September 20th. The game was originally released in 1993 and is known for its puzzle-solving style gameplay. This remake will have many updates, including being able to play in two different ways.

Other games coming out soon

As you may know, Nintendo is releasing a new game console called the Switch which will be coming out in March. The system will be portable so people can take it with them on the go. They are also making an online membership available for $20 USD every year so players can access all of Nintendo's online services. Along with these announcements, they revealed details about upcoming games that will be released this year which include "Puyo Puyo Tetris" and "Dr. Mario."
