Guide to Doing Old School Runescape Elite Clues

Are you ready to take on your First Old School Runescape Elite Clue? This guide will help you prepare for the grueling tasks ahead and give you tips and tricks to make the process a bit easier.

Before you begin, make sure you have the following items ready:

- Adamant Sword

- Varrock Teleport

- Edgeville Teleport

- Glory Amulet

- Mini Game Teleport

- 10,000 coins

- Runes for Teleporting

Stockpile

Before you begin, you will need to stock up on items. Make sure you have enough osrs gold coins to buy an Adamant Sword from the Sword Shop in Varrock, runes for teleportation, and 10,000 coins for the Nightmare Zone.

Nettles

Next, teleport to Edgeville and run over to the nettles in the corner. Spam-click them until your HP hits zero. This will cause your items to remain on the floor for an hour, and they will not be visible to other players.

Nightmare Zone

Use your mini-game teleport to go to the Nightmare Zone. Run over to your coffer, take out 10,000 coins, and then run south to the Magic Shop. Buy around 15-20 law, water, earth, and fire runes, and one air rune. Teleport to your house and use the glory to get back to Edgeville.

Loot Pile

Run over to your loot pile and pick up only the items you need for your clue scroll. Prioritize picking up items that you can equip so that you can make fewer trips. When you are finished, teleport back to your house and use your jewelry box to go to the Fairox Enclave.

Wilderness

Go to a corner of the Wilderness that has skeletons. Kill them until they drop you a looting bag. Run back to your loot pile and start spam-clicking and picking up your stuff. When you have everything you need, teleport back to your house.

Make sure you have a crystal key in case you get a Sherlock step, and then open your clue. Follow the steps to complete the clue, and when you are finished, build your elite stash with the dragon med helm, amulet of glory, and a pair of Barrows gloves.

Before you can begin, you'll need to purchase a White 2-Handed Sword and Plate Body. The White 2-Handed Sword is 1300 Night Kills, while the Plate Body is 800. This can take some time, so be patient and make sure to check your progress via the Wanted Quest.

Elite Clue

Once you've acquired the necessary items, you can begin your Clue Scroll.

Greensman Ale

The first step is typically to brew the Greensman Ale. This can take several days, so you may want to consider pre-brewing it and leaving it in your bed for easy access when you need it.

Derox Legs

The second step is to obtain a set of Derox Legs. This can be done by opening Elite Chests, which drop at a rate of 1 in 29. You'll want to keep an eye out for Guthin's Helm, Carol's Leather Skirt, and Tourag Hammers, which are all unique items.

Touareg's Legs and Carol's Top

The third step is to obtain a set of Touareg's Legs and Carol's Top. You may get lucky and find a double chest with both items, but it's not guaranteed. If you do find them, make sure to hang on to them since the ammo for Carol's Bow is easy to obtain.

Guthin Spear

The fourth step is to obtain a Guthin Spear. This can also be obtained from Elite Chests, but it's a bit rare. You may want to consider opening more chests than usual in order to find one.

Obtain a Circle

The fifth step is to obtain a Circle. This is one of the four steps that you may find difficult to build, so you may have to drop the clue in the future.

Obtain a Mimic

The sixth step is to obtain a Mimic. This can be a bit tricky, so make sure to stock up on food and give yourself enough time to kill it. You'll be rewarded with 569 Blood Runes and 70 Death Runes.

Obtain an Elite Clue

The seventh and final step is to obtain an Elite Clue. This can be done by opening Elite Chests, but it's not guaranteed. You may have to open hundreds of chests before you find one.

Conclusion

Once you've completed all seven steps, you'll be rewarded with a unique item from the Clue Scroll. This can be a powerful weapon or piece of armor, so it's well worth the effort. Hopefully, this guide has given you a better understanding of what it takes to complete the Clue Scroll. Good luck on your journey!
