The Stamina Sorcerer build is one of the most versatile and powerful solos builds you can use right now in Elder Scrolls Online. With its combination of powerful damage, sustain and speed, this build can take on virtually any challenge in the game, including solo overland content, arenas, and even solo group dungeons. If you play it right, you can easily go through any situation without ever dying.
Let's go through the setup of this build so you can maximize your performance. Start with your stat allocations and attributes, focusing mainly on Stamina. The Lover Mundus stone is a great choice for damage output, but if you're looking for more of a group-focused build then the Thief Mundus Stone will provide a good balance of DPS and sustain. For food, the Lava Foot Soup is ideal for extra Max Stamina and Stamina Recovery. Race-wise, Orc is the best choice for a Stamina-focused Sorcerer due to its bonus Max Stamina, Max Health, extra Healing from dealing damage, extra Weapon and Spell Damage, extra Movement Speed, and Cost Reduction of Sprint. Potions-wise, Weapon Power Potions are ideal for this build, as they provide extra Weapon Critical in addition to Max Stamina and Stamina Recovery.
Next up is the gear setup. For your offensive setup, the Order's Wrath set is a great choice. This crafted set provides extra Crit Chance, Weapon and Spell Damage, and Crit Damage and Healing. Make sure you have your Absorb Stamina enchant on your two-handed weapon, and you're good to go. For the defensive/sustain setup, the Wretched Vitality set is the best option. This crafted set gives you a ton of Magicka and Stamina Recovery, plus extra Weapon and Spell Damage. Make sure you have an Infused trait on your two-handed weapon and a Weapon and Spell Damage glyph on your jewelry.
For your Monster Set, Stormfist is a great choice for extra Stamina Recovery and Damage. For your Mythic Item, the Ring of the Pale Order is essential for solo play, as it provides massive passive healing with its Bloodthirsty trait. If you want more damage then you can swap this for Sea Serpent's Coil for group content.
Finally, for your last piece of gear, using the Training Gear gives you an extra 1454 Max Health. With all of these pieces combined, you can easily cruise through solo content without worrying about dying.
With all of that out of the way, let's discuss the skills you'll use with this build. Crystal Fragments is a great Magicka DPS skill to use, as it has a 33% chance to proc when you cast an ability. This will give you a free cast of Crystal Fragments that costs 50 less Magicka, and it can easily take down any enemy you come across. If you don't want to use this skill, then Reverse Slice from the Two-Handed skill line is a great Stamina-based option.
Now that you know the setup and skills of the Stamina Sorcerer build, you can easily conquer any content you come across in Elder Scrolls Online. With its combination of powerful damage, sustain and speed, you can easily turn any situation into an easy victory.
Next up, let's talk about survivability this build really is so difficult to die on because of this skill-hardened war. This is our sorcerer damage shield and it's getting a huge buff in update 37, particularly for a stamina sorcerer. You can see it no longer scales off magicka as its primary focus. It now has two options: it either scales on max, health, or magicka, and it's capped at 72 percent of your max health, so basically, whichever of those stats, is higher in this case. Obviously, our health is higher because we're not the magic of focus build. Then it's going to be capped at 72 percent of that health pool. So that's why I can get 12 000 damage shield on a stamina build using this one ability which is really nice, like I, said if you drop even more points into health. If you put some of your attribute points into there, if you use a food uh, something like dubious, Cameron throne that also has health, you can easily get up to 14 15k damage deal just for this one ability and it's a great survival tool whenever you're taking too much damage on your front bar just pop one of those and you'll be good to go.
The build revolves around the Fighters Guild skill line and its first ability, Silver Shards. This skill is fantastic for Stamina Sorcerers because it is an AOE DPS skill, dealing 75% of its initial damage to all nearby targets without a cap. This skill also procs our Instant Crystal Frag, allowing for huge AOE damage.
Our next key skill is Wrecking Blow, which is getting a buff in Update 37. This skill used to just give Empower, but now it grants Major Berserk for 5 seconds, giving a 10% bonus to all damage done. This means that you should use Wrecking Blow as a buff rather than a spammable DPS skill, applying it to a target and then empowering your next 4 skills with the Major Berserk buff.
The last damage ability is Barbed Trap, a strong single target dot which also gives Minor Force, adding 10% to our critical damage. For our ultimate, we chose a defensive option, Temporal Guard from the Sygic Order skill-line, which gives us Minor Protection for 5 seconds (reducing damage taken by 5%). We also get extra damage shield from the Concentrated Barrier passive and Hardened Lord, making our damage shield almost full.
On the back bar, we have Stampede (our main gap closer), Carve, Razor Cow Drops, Hurricane and two additional Carve casts to stack it up to 3. Stampede is great for Arenas, especially Maelstrom Arena, as it helps us move between targets quickly. Carve and Razor Cow Drops both give us damage over time effects, and Hurricane gives us Retro Vitality (which does damage and gives us movement speed and armor). We also have our main Ultimate, Greater Storm Atronach from the Daedric Summoning skill-line, which increases our single-target damage.
For the star choices, we recommend Treasure Hunter, Rationer, Liquid Efficiency, and Steed's Blessing for the green tree; Fighting Finesse, Zama Turge, Master at Arms, and Biting Aura for the blue tree; and Boundless Vitality, Fortified, Bloody Renewal, and Bastion for the red tree. Bastion gives us an additional 15% Shield Size, which is great for this build.
Finally, for the outfit style, we are using all light armor styles with a Dread Horn helmet.
