Welcome to this guide about the Immortal Tank option for Elder Scrolls Online. In this guide, LOLTANK will discuss the unique build that allows you to become virtually immortal in ESO. This build requires several sets, skills, and tweaks to make it work, so we will explain each of these and how they interact with each other to make this possible.
Magma Shell
which is the key component of this build. Magma Shell is an ultimate ability that will cap any damage taken above 3% of your max health at that same 3%. This means that no matter how much damage you take, it will never exceed 3% of your max health. To keep this ability up at all times, we will need a few other things.
Elf Bane set
This set can be purchased from the Guild Traders with ESO GOLD and it will extend the duration of flame damage over time abilities by 5 seconds. Magma Shell is considered flame damage over time ability, so it will be extended by Elf Bane to a total of 18 seconds.
Blessing of the Potentates
This is a 3-piece PvP set from Cyrodill and it will reduce the cost of your ultimate abilities by 15. This will reduce the cost of Magma Shells from 200 ultimate to 170 ultimate. Unfortunately, we have to increase this cost again due to the Vampire skill line. Being a Stage 1 Vampire will increase the cost of your non-Vampire abilities by 3%, putting Magma Shells cost at 175 ultimate.
Harrison Potions
we will need to use the extremely expensive Harrison Potions. These are crafted with Dragon's Blood, Dragon Rim, and Columbine and they will keep up constant Minor Heroism.
Best Races for this build
The best races for this build are Nord and Imperial. Nord's Stalwart passive will proc twice during your magma shell, giving you 10 ultimate, and Imperials Red Diamond passive will reduce Magma Shells cost by 10. Nord is the better choice for this build, as it is superior to Imperial for regular tanking.
Armor
For the armor, we will use the same traits and enchants as our other builds, as there is no trait that will benefit this specific purpose. We will also use Swift Trade for the utility, as it is the only one that we can benefit from with this build.
Food
For food, we recommend Wood Sugar School as it will allow us to store more resources and we don’t need to worry about recovery too much due to the Battlemaster passive.
Champion points
The champion points and Mundus Stone will not make much of a difference, as any issues regarding survivability or sustain are already addressed. The only beneficial option might be Elemental Defender.
2-handed weapon or dual wield
Finally, we will need to use either a 2-handed weapon or dual wield. This is to get the full benefit from the Mighty trait.
Final Thought
This is everything you need to know about the Immortal Tank builds for ESO. With the right sets, skills, and tweaks, you will be able to survive virtually any damage in the game. Thanks for reading and happy tanking!ESO GOLD
