In this article, we delve into the thrilling world of Uber boss farming. Our team embarked on a journey to defeat 90 formidable bosses, including Uber Searing Exarch, Uber Eater of Worlds, Uber Cortex, Uber Atziri, Uber Elder, and Chayula's Breachstone. We meticulously recorded our experiences and sought to analyze the profitability of this endeavor. Join us as we recount our adventures and present the final results of our efforts.
The Trials and Triumphs:
Our expedition commenced with Uber Searing Exarch, requiring 27 divines for 30 invitations. Unfortunately, Lady Luck was not on our side, and we encountered a slew of disappointing amulets. Nonetheless, we salvaged a few valuable Eldritch currencies, some unique items, visible trolls, and a handful of Forbidden Flame levels.
Next, we faced the daunting Uber Eater of Worlds. Again, 27 divines were spent on assault invitations. Despite this, the rewards were underwhelming, with only one Age of Styles amulet featuring a decent modifier role. Nevertheless, we acquired a fair share of Eldritch currency and some affordable Forbidden Flesh Jewels.
Undeterred, we embarked on ten challenging encounters with Uber Atziri. A total of 38 divines were invested in acquiring the required sets. Regrettably, the outcome was disheartening, yielding minimal rewards, including zero Atziri's Axes and unremarkable uniques.
Our journey continued with Uber Cortex, where we procured one Bottled Faith flask and a few minor gains. This was followed by the formidable Chayula's Breachstone, from which we obtained only a single Blessing of Chayula.
Finally, we faced the ultimate challenge, Uber Elder. Anticipating a fruitful venture, we entered the fray, only to be greeted with disappointment. Out of ten encounters, we acquired a mere two Level 86 Watcher's Eyes, falling short of our expectations.
Reaping the Spoils:
After each set, we completed an invitation run with an 80%+ quantity bonus. This proved fruitful, netting us a plethora of valuable items. Let's delve into the final calculations to assess our profitability.
Considering all boss rounds, we invested a total of 92 divines. However, the returns varied significantly. Our notable gains included 11 Maven's Staves, each valued at 1.3 divines, summing up to 40.3 divines. Additionally, we acquired cheap Quarterstaffs with 60 or 61 modifier rolls, totaling 0.4 divines.
From Uber Cortex, we obtained four Synthesis items, though they weren't particularly remarkable, their combined worth can be estimated at 1.5 divines. Furthermore, we secured an Herb of Domination (0.9 divines), an Awakening and both Elements (0.1 divines), a Blazing Chayula (1.2 divines), and three Orbs of Conflict (0.6 divines). Additionally, we acquired a Bottled Faith flask (1.2 divines) and five level 86 and 85+ Fortresses, collectively valued at 5 divines.
Among our spoils were seven fragments worth 1.7 divines, four influenced maps (0.5 divines), and an elevated level 6.4 map (0.35 divines). The standout item was the Ages of the Start amulet, blessed with a fortuitous modifier roll, boasting an estimated value of 35 divines.
We also accumulated a considerable quantity of Eldritch currency, amounting to 6.2 divines, along with two inexpensive unique trinkets (0.1 divines). Finally, the Forbidden Fruits we acquired totaled 11 divines, exemplifying their worth.
Conclusion:
After assessing our total haul, we amassed a sum of 88 divines, thus gaining a net profit of four divines. Our verdict on Uber boss farming is mixed. The variability of rewards, combined with the significant investment of time and resources, leads us to conclude that pursuing alternative farming methods may be more prudent.
