Welcome, everyone! Today, we have an exciting and unique farming guide for Diablo 4. After posting my Goblin guide, where you can find unlimited Elite monsters for experience farming. In the replay behind me, you can see me and my friend testing this out, and you'll notice that the Elite monster is designed to respawn infinitely.
Before we dive into the details, let's talk about the starting point. At the beginning of the fight, we had approximately 66,000 experiences. We spent about three minutes trying out this method, and within that short time, we were able to accumulate around 100,000 experiences. Initially, we were skeptical about the effectiveness of this farming method, thinking there might be something wrong with it. However, as we continued testing, we discovered that the design of this monster has some flaws.
The monster is located on a ledge with limited space. As you engage in combat, the monster will drop three eggs. If any of these eggs are left intact when you kill the monster, it instantly revives. Surprisingly, this revival doesn't count as a kill for the monster, but you still receive experience for eliminating its body. This results in a continuous increase in experience points. We're unsure whether this is intentional or a bug, as our testing period was relatively short. Due to this uncertainty, we don't recommend abusing this method.
Now, let's discuss when this farming method might be useful. we got a bit bored and decided to attempt to destroy the eggs. It proved challenging because the monster drops eggs, and if you kill it before destroying them, it instantly revives without dropping any loot. After several attempts, we successfully destroyed all the eggs and were able to defeat the monster. Upon its demise, it dropped a guaranteed ring.
Although this monster replaces the 14 Elite monsters mentioned earlier in the game, which is ideal for farming, we didn't choose to pursue the dropped ring because it wasn't to our liking. Nevertheless, this particular monster offers an interesting feature where you can gain a significant amount of experience. However, it's important to note that farming this monster won't provide any meaningful progression in the game, such as access to diamond dungeons or unique items. It won't drop any coveted loot. The only situation where it may be worth considering is if you're on the cusp of leveling up to your next Paragon level or reaching level 49 or 50. In such cases, spending a few minutes killing this monster for the experience boost before moving on might be a viable strategy.
While this method offers quick experience gains, the loot drops are not the best. We wanted to share this discovery with you because it's an intriguing phenomenon. However, we don't advise extensively relying on this method. It's crucial that the developers address this potential bug in future updates. So please refrain from exploiting this method excessively.
Now, for those curious about the monster's location, it is situated in a town with a name we find difficult to pronounce. you can see the exact spot where I'm standing. The closest portal to reach this location is the one displayed on the screen. Once you've arrived, position yourself on the ledge and engage the monster. However, we must reiterate that we don't find much practical use for this monster. If any of you have experience farming Nightmare dungeons, we'd love to hear your thoughts on whether this is a viable method. Based on our limited experience, we don't believe it to be the most efficient way to farm experience.
In conclusion, while this farming method may seem intriguing, we urge caution and advise against relying on it as a primary source of experience or loot. Let's hope that the developers address this peculiar situation in future updates.
