Welcome Exiles! In this session, we're embarking on an ambitious project – double corrupting 70 Dialis Malifaction robes. A massive thanks to Total over Batman and bat monka for supplying the items, totaling 1.2 mirrors in value.
The Plan
Our main focus will be showcasing double corruptions on the Dialis robes. We won't go step-by-step for Enlighten corruptions but will present the end results for clarity.
Important Notes
Tainted Currency: Be aware of the existence of tainted currency. Tained armor scraps can be used for quality.
White Sockets: Hitting white sockets doesn't necessarily render the item useless. Thanks to tainted currency and benchcrafting, you can revert them to non-white sockets.
Corruption Results:
Starting the venture, note that all robes are non-six-linked. With tainted fusings, it's more economical to six-link post-corruption.
Early Results: Our initial attempts weren't very fruitful, with many robes either bricking or yielding less valuable corruptions.
Midway Mark: We began seeing better results around the 20th robe. We hit some valuable corruptions, including AoE, projectile gems, and duration modifiers.
Final Stretch: By the end, we had a mixed bag. While there were a good number of successful corruptions, several robes either bricked or provided less than stellar results.
Analysis:
From the total corruptions:
10 yielded white sockets.
18 turned into brick rares.
20 vanished entirely.
The remaining 22 had various implicit modifications.
Highlights:
Area of Effect (AoE): Pure AoE mods were a big win, fetching an estimated 50 divines each. An AoE combined with a curse modifier was even more valuable, estimated around 50 divines.
Projectile Gems: Yielded about 5 divines each. Not the most lucrative, but still added to our overall return.
Duration Modifiers: Fetching 30 divines each, these were among the top hits in our corruption session.
Final Tally & Market Dynamics:
While we made an estimated 691 divines in return, market fluctuations, particularly in mirror prices, could impact the final profit margin. At the old mirror prices, the venture might've broken even, but with the recent surge, there might be a slight deficit. However, this is all on paper – the real test is when these items hit the market.
Conclusion:
Double corrupting is always a gamble, and while we didn't hit the jackpot, we certainly didn't walk away empty-handed.
