If you're looking to master the T19 Abattoir of Zir Speed Farm in Diablo 4, you've come to the right place. I'm here to reveal the secrets to my Rank 1 Druid build, which is dominating the leaderboards.
Why My Build?
Starlight is at the heart of my strategy, which is very different from the small petting zoo builds that are prevalent. In order to maximize glyph leveling and an enjoyable game experience, I aim to strike a balance between damage and resource generation while maintaining survivability. This allows for faster leveling up of glyphs.
Paragon Board Modifications
My build's success is due to the modified Paragon board, which prioritizes HP. We're basically making each increase a defensive one by focusing on HP nodes.
Starlight Aspect & Elemental Snapshotting
This aspect is essential to my build, and it allows us to forgo the Tibl will and go with a more balanced approach. A neat trick here is 'elemental snapshotting' – start with a two-handed weapon with the aspect of elements, then switch to your regular weapon. This is a legal way of getting double the benefits.
Skill Tree Changes
I've ditched Nature's Fury to strengthen our fortify abilities. By alternating shapes frequently and taking advantage of storm strike, we get a lot of damage reduction and fortify increases. I've also decided against using last for Carnage, which is a common choice in werewolf builds, because of the perks of Starlight aspect.
The Paragon Board Strategy
The goal here is to get as much HP as possible. Nodes that are important to activate are those that boost HP and damage reduction. I've found the Thunder Strike board really helpful, allowing us to take less damage from vulnerable enemies.
Equipment and Playstyle Tips
Elixir of Choice: Gileon's Brew, which increases your HP and makes you tougher.
Skill Focus: Storm Strike for damage reduction and transforming into a human for extra benefits.
Amulet Choice: Stormclaw, which raises your AoE damage and makes you a formidable force against groups of enemies.
Advanced Strategies
Cool Down Reduction: Try to get gear that reduces skill cooldown, in particular cyclone armor and hurricane.
Damage Optimization: Double dipping with certain skills can significantly increase your damage output.
Final Thoughts
My Druid build goes beyond raw power and takes full advantage of the class's unique advantages. This build isn't just about surviving; it's about thriving, even against the toughest opponents.
