Keybinds and Buffs

First thing first, set your A and D keys to strafe left and right. Sounds simple but makes a huge difference. Also, get your world buff from Darnassus. It is not compulsory but it helps.

Gear Up

As monsters move one way, you move in the other direction. Stick to this dance even if you run out of mana. The only real danger is mobs deaggro'ing and getting a free hit so stay alert.

Maximizing Profit

Now about making gold; here is how it goes down: Clear main hall + two rooms on left for 3g each person. With a group of four that's 12g per clear and each run takes about 12 minutes. Meaning that would be about 60 gold an hour. For a more full run that includes the whole left wing, charge 5g which takes about 25 minutes and you can get around 40g in 50 minutes.
