The Champion is often a defensive/support class that can act as a tank for their celebration by debuffing enemies by way of taunts and impale, buffing their allies with enhanced Banners, or Intimidate enemies to reduce their defenses. They bolster their Defenses with a buff that grants the player 20% decreased damage taken from hits for four seconds. That will not apply to deterioration over time, due to the fact it doesn't hit. Such as the ability to permanently Fortify themselves, or acquire a burst of Adrenaline at low life for elevated damage and defenses. The tree grants enhanced armour and evasion rating across the board to additional bolster their survivability too.
[PoE 3.9] Blade Flurry Impale Champion
That is a pure Phys impale crit champion. Thanks to the buffs to pure Phys is 3.8, and we're fully Phys now. Impale is suitable for a single target. Making this guide out of requests. Melee meta op. Reave is ideal for bright, doesn't drop all the stacks at once, and does more damage now. BF has always been one of the highest single target skills in the game
Pros:
+ Busted single target.
+ Decent clearspeed.
Cons:
- Gear dependent. Leveling feels awful.
Ascendancy:
Conqueror > Worthy Foe > Master of Metal > First to Strike, Last to fall
Pantheon:
Brine King and Ralakesh.

[PoE 3.9] Fast map farmer Impale Crit flicker champion Build
There are some excellent flicker strike builds out there. Still, most of them combine flicker with some other skills, and there isn't one that uses only the primary ability, as the build from Bakuhakubasugasu. The build is designed to never get to a situation where you run out of frenzy charges. You can most likely optimize it a lot better, but it's not the point of it. It's pretty much as easy as it can get. You go into a map, run/jump around until you see some enemies, then you have to hold down your flicker button. Optionally you can close your eyes for a lower chance of a headache from all the screen movement.
If you see a bigger group, or you get to a boss/abyss encounter, or something similar that has some tougher enemies, pop your totem(s) and flasks for some extra DPS and protection.
If you're running the low HP max DPS version, you're going to have to dodge the significant boss attacks.
Pros:
+ Top tier clear speed
+ Super easy to use
+ Pure physical damage
+ Base items are cheap
+ Lots of armor to help with the incoming knockouts
+ Good damage against bosses thanks to impaling, so you don't have to switch skills/weapons
Cons:
- Not a lot of health
- Because of this, it's not a shaper/elder farmer. I recommend sticking to T15 or lower maps.
- Delving is risky
- No physical reflect plans
- Hard to choose what to drop if you only have a 5link.
- Leveling to 51 can be painful.
Ascendancy:
Picked Unstoppable hero first, to get some extra protection and DPS, then Conqueror + Worthy foe leaving Master of metal to the end. Likely a smarter choice is to get Worthy adversary first so you get 100% accuracy.
Pantheon:
Arakaali, as we signed for the extra recovery thing, but Solaris is likely a more sensible choice.
For a minor, we have Gruthkul, for some extra protection. Another right choice is Ralakesh, or even Shakari's poison immunity can be useful.
