Poe Divination Cards are items that can be collected in Path of Exile (PoE) and exchanged for rewards. They are dropped from monsters and loot containers, take up 1x1 inventory space, and are stackable and tradeable. When a full set of cards is collected, they can be given to either Tasuni in Highgate or Lilly Roth at the player's hideout for the item referenced on the card. The cards drop in specific areas of Wraeclast, so farming in that area increases the chances of obtaining the desired item. Additionally, drop rates are affected by the character's level, with no penalty for characters level 68 and above when farming world areas in later acts.
Today Loltank will be going to show you how to make Poe Currency from divination cards. We'll be focusing on the biggest decks, of course, but we'll also be looking at some of the leftovers. To start off, we'll be gambling on a replica item. Then, we'll be looking at level 21 chaos gems with 23 quality.
After that, we'll be looking at the Battleborn divination cards. These cards are generally priced at around 2 chaos each, so let's see what kind of profit we can make. To get an idea of what we're looking for, let's head to poe.ninja and see what kind of items are worth investing in.
Battleborn Divination cards
The Battleborn cards offer 100 and 200-axe drops, with the most valuable being the 100-axe Soul Taker, which is currently priced around 20 Divines. The 200-axe drops include Kingmaker, which is used in minion builds, and a few other interesting ones.
We'll start with a smaller stack and enter a replica item. We get a Bitter Dream, which is worth around 15 Chaos. Then we get Bitter Blossom, a level 21 Chaos gem with 23 quality, which is worth around 20 Chaos. We make a profit off this one!
Next, we get an Atziri's Promise which is often used in builds but is also quite common, so it's only worth three Chaos. We also get Dorian's Catalyst, which is worth around 10-10 Chaos.
Mercenary Divination cards
Now, we move on to the Mercenary cards. We get Titucius Span, a Chaos shield, and Crest of Parandos, which has an interesting implicit of 8% physical damage taken as lightning damage. Unfortunately, this is not worth much. We also get Really Sharp Arms with a 5 Chaos corruption and Rise of the Phoenix with a 4% chance to block implicit.
Next, we get The Oppressor, with an 8% physical damage taken as cold damage implicit, and Mali Garo's Lens with reduced area damage taken. Both of these are worth around one Chaos. We also get Crest of Parandos with a reduced gem duration implicit, which isn't worth much.
Finally, we get nine stacks of Battleborn cards. We get Mano's Bloodlust, Blood Reaper, Wings of Entropy, Relentless Fury, Dread Arc, Reaper's Pursuit, White Swings, Calm's Primacy, Limb Splitter, and Rickert's Survey. Unfortunately, none of these drops are worth much, so we end up not making much of a profit.
Overall, divination cards can be a great way to make a profit in Path of Exile, but you should always be aware of what you're looking for and what kind of items you're likely to get. With a bit of luck and a lot of patience, you can make a decent profit from gambling with divination cards. Good luck!
