The Elder Scrolls Online has always been a great game for experienced and new players alike. Now, with the Dragon Knight Heavy Attack DPS Build, even more, players can experience the best of what ESO has to offer. This build garners north of 90k DPS and is incredibly versatile, allowing players to choose between Magicka or Stamina based on their race, as well as the utility skills they prefer.
Race
The recommended race is Altmer, Dark Elf, or Khajiit, and the recommended Mundus Stone is the Thief. Players should use the Max Health and Magicka food, or the pure Max Magicka food depending on the situation. The Essence of Health potion is recommended for the added resistances, or Tristat or regular potions if desired.
Gear
The gear setup includes one piece of Slime Crawler in light, five pieces of Storm Master in medium, and one piece of Sergeant's Mail in heavy. All pieces should have the Vines trait and magical enchantments. Jewelry pieces should be Bloodthirsty with the Champion of Physical Harm passive and the Precise trait with either Flame or Poison enchantments. For solo reforming content, players can also choose five pieces of Noble Dueler, five pieces of Silks of the Sun, or five pieces of Order of the Hour.
Skill
The skill setup includes Venomous Claw, Flames of Oblivion, Burning Talons, Barbed Trap, and Eruption for damage, and Standard of Might for the ultimate. In terms of Champion Points, the recommended tree is Warfare with Wrathful Strikes, Deadly Aim, and Backstabber. Fitness should be balanced, and Vitality should have Fortified Celerity for the added movement speed. Force should be balanced between Fashion and Expert Evasion.
Rotation
The rotation for this build is fairly straightforward. Start with pre-buffing with Flames of Oblivion, setting down Barbed Trap, casting Eruption, and then Heavy Attacking while weaving in Venomous Claw. After that, Heavy Attack while weaving in Burning Talons, then cast Standard of Might. Burning Talons should be used as a flammable between each Heavy Attack, and Standard of Might should be cast with at least three of your dots still on the target.
Final Thought
The Dragon Knight Heavy Attack build is incredibly powerful with great burst damage and survivability. With this build, players can also enjoy a more peaceful rotation than other classes thanks to the Heavy Attack weaving. With the right gear, skills, and rotation, players can get the most out of their Dragon Knight experience.
