In Path of Exile, some strategies go against the grain, pushing the boundaries of what players consider efficient or enjoyable. In this article, we delve into a daring experiment where we embarked on an arduous journey to run 10,000 vaults of its area maps. With a touch of madness and the inspiration of the Lightning Warp build, we set out to test the limits of this unorthodox strategy.
The Lightning Warp Build:
Before diving into the results, it's essential to acknowledge the inspiration for this undertaking—the Lightning Warp build created by an ingenious individual. While we riffed off their original concept, we can't thank them enough for sparking our interest and giving us the foundation for this experiment.

Triumphs and Challenges:
As we ventured deeper into the vaults of its area, we encountered a wide range of experiences. Some maps felt deceptively easy, while others presented unexpected challenges. Our Lightning Warp build, optimized for speed and damage, proved fragile in the face of relentless foes. Even a single hit could be fatal, making every step a test of skill and evasion.
Noteworthy Discoveries:
Throughout our exploration, we encountered remarkable drops that left us in awe. Among the treasures were seven Rod divines, three Voidborn Reliquary Keys, and an abundance of valuable six-linked items. We amassed over 5,000 fusings, mainly from six-linked items, averaging at least one Divine Orb drop for every 100 maps. Additionally, we uncovered 377 Inventor cards, 139 Awakener's Orbs, and a surprising 20 Monochrome cards, granting access to elevated sextants.
Financial Breakdown:
While the financial aspect of this strategy wasn't our primary focus, it's essential to assess the outcome. We invested approximately 49 divine orbs into the venture, translating to around 17 hours of our lives that we'll never get back. However, considering the drops and their potential value, the strategy yielded between two and three poe divines per hour.
The Loot:
We acquired eight raw Exalted Orbs, 596 Chaos Orbs, 374 Scouring Orbs, 1,300 Sacrifice at Dusk fragments, and 1,700 Vaal Orbs. We obtained two Survivors' Guilt, two Seething Furies, and even the elusive Kitava's Feast—a T0 rarity item. Other notable findings included 75 Admirer cards, 25 Lords of Celebration, and numerous other valuable items.
Conclusion:
The journey through the vaults of its area was undoubtedly challenging, but it provided valuable insights and surprising rewards. While the total div value may not have exceeded our initial expectations, the experience gained, and the discoveries made were well worth the effort. It's important to note that this strategy may only suit some, and individual results may vary. Nonetheless, it showcased the potential for profitable drops and offered a unique perspective on the map running.
